Winter Camping
We welcome you to our campsite in Sweden even in winter . From December to April snow is guaranteed in the Fjäll (mountains) of Jämtland.
In winter, camping in a mobile home or caravan has become increasingly popular during the last years. Hence, we keep the campsite and the service house open for you in winter too. Our wood-fired sauna is also very popular in winter - same goes for our barbecue hut, which you are free to use. For instance you could grill one of our legendary Ren burgers in a cast-iron pan you will find in the hut.
Our outdoor facilities (outdoor kitchen and supply/disposal station) are not accessible in winter. You can water the facilities down with a watering can - in our service building you will find an easily accessible water tap in the shower. You can also dispose your wastewater in the heated service building.
Due to lower demand in winter, our campsite is not cleared from snow regularly and the service house is only moderately heated to prevent freezing pipes. We therefore ask you to register in advance so that you can find a cleared parking space with electricity and a sufficiently warm service house.
We ask our guests to understand that we cannot offer guests for a single overnight stay the full service that we provide longer-term camping guests with. It may happen that we are unable to offer travelers passing through for one night a fitting camping lot in winter due to unfavorable weather conditions and cold.
Service Facilities
In our modern and lovingly designed service house, campers will find a small souvenir shop in addition to other service options.
In the entrance area you will find a neat dishwashing facility and an easy-to-use microwave for our guests.
Hot water for rinsing off or washing can also be found directly on the outdoor area.
There is a modern and clean washing machine and an equally well-kept tumble dryer – both for a fee.

Camping - Calmness, Relaxation and Sporty Activities
We warmly welcome guests with campers or caravans to our campsite located in the quiet heart of Sweden.
We offer you fully graveled and completely dry pitches with electricity connections (10-16A). In addition to a ground-level disposal for mobile homes and another disposal station for toilets, you will also find a supply of already filtered fresh water.
The modern and clean service facilities offers our camping guests a shower, a toilet, washing facilities, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
A wood-fired outdoor sauna can be booked separately.
On the campsite you can get access to wifi for a fee.

At arrival every camping guest receives our brochure with information about the site, suggestions for selected hikes, bike tours and other excursions in the surrounding area. Our hiking guide in book form (written in German) can be bought on site. Shipping is also possible.
A small but modern and clean service building awaits you at the campsite.
The campsite is open in winter too and we are happy to welcome camping guests by prior arrangement. If wanted, we can provide information about winter camping. Our opening times during the winter season can be found on our price list.
For cosy evenings around the campfire, you will find a simple barbecue area at the campsite and a barbecue hut in the center of the lodge.
For the kids and those young at heart, there is a playground with swings, a slide tower, a sandpit, a trampoline and more.
Next to the service house, there is also a newly built, spacious wood-fired sauna available to you.
